Brevard County

Florida's Central Region

Have you always dreamed of cruising down a beachside highway with the top down, soaking in the scenery and good vibrations? Ever wondered how man reached the moon? Or just want to get back to nature?

Stretching 72 miles along Florida's East Coast, the Space Coast is best known as the home of Kennedy Space Center, Orlando's closest beaches and some of the best surfing in the country, but this is only a taste of what you'll find on our coast.

Over 100 of the best surfing spots on the East Coast can be found right here on Florida's Space Coast. With the longest beach in the State and three of "Florida's Ten Best Beaches," as declared by Southern Living, our area offers a distinct beach getaway, which can be tailor made for any interest, whether its kayaking at the break of dawn, soaring over the crowds on a parasail, skipping the waves on a boogie board or just soaking up some rays.

We may be known for launching man into space and our 72 miles of beaches, but Florida Space Coast also has a wonderful arts and cultural scene which draws thousands of visitors from around the state and the country as well. With six different theatre groups, several dozen galleries, seasonal arts and crafts festivals, and a full schedule of Broadway shows, our destination is your destination to be truly entertained!

Florida's Space Coast may have 72 miles of beaches, but we also have an eclectic collection of shopping choices to please both the bargain basement shopper, the discerning diva and everyone in between. Whether you like open air malls or historic shopping districts, funky out of the way art galleries or one-of-a-kind boutiques, hard to find antique dealers or the world's largest surf shop, you'll find what you're looking for and then some on Florida's Space Coast.
