Flagler County, Florida is a beach lover's delight with 19 miles of pristine coquina sand beaches, perfect for surfing the third best waves in Florida, fishing from the surf, beachcombing, swimming, or just soaking up the sun. Flagler Beach has pet friendy access allowing dogs on the beach.

Biking and hiking are second nature here in Flagler County. With over 72 miles of trails to choose from with a variety of different levels, there is something for everyone. Florida’s nearly perfect year-round weather invites cyclists to hit the roads and trails regularly, and bicycling in Flagler is a growing sport.

Drop anchor in Flagler County! There are plenty of waterways to explore in Flagler starting with the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, a large stretch of brackish water just west of the Atlantic Ocean that creates the barrier islands. This canal runs along the Atlantic seaboard and serves as a major waterway for boaters to travel the coast. From there boaters can meander through creeks and marshlands for a day of fishing and relaxation or they can head out to the Atlantic Ocean for a spectacular day at sea. Those looking for a fresh water experience can venture out through Haw Creek to Dead Lake or Crescent Lake to view osprey, great blue herons, turtles and even alligators as they bask in the sun.
