The Glades deep water marina has quick river access. Boats up to 60' can find safe harbor with all necessary amenities. Our dock master will be there to greet you. There is 30 and 50 amp service. Golf cart transportation is available for those docking overnight. Throw a line into these fish filled waters from the marina’s fishing pier or fish for largemouth bass, brim and all types of pan fish in the “Lollipop”, a deep pond just downstream. We’re located 14 miles from the Lake Okeechobee waterway the door to some of the best freshwater fishing and all types of water sports begins at the Moore Haven lock, the lakes entry point. The boat ramp allows access for all types of small water craft, canoes, kayaks, and bass boats.
The Glades 9-hole championship golf course was designed by Mark Sauger. This 3,178 yard par 36 course is surrounded by live oak trees and broad, rich green fairways of Bermuda grass. There’s lots of character to the course, water features and native Florida landscaping. Regular golf tournaments and weekly scrambles are scheduled at the pro-shop. Walk or ride on our fleet of E-Z-Go golf carts.
There’s a lot happening at the Glades, music, dancing, campfires, heated swimming pool, water aerobics, entertainment, arts and crafts, billiards, card playing, horseshoes, shuffle board, bean bag, baseball, ping pong, bingo, BBQs, and pickleball tournaments are an example of the large variety or the daily activities served up at the Glades! RV rallies, Bi-annual rodeo events and other festivities add to your choices. The Labelle Swamp Cabbage Festival, the Clewiston Brown Sugar Festival, the Chalo Nitka Festival & Rodeo and the Cane Grinding Festival provide traditional local community events.
